ISEESSAT PSATACTSATSAT IIAP Tests

The PSAT

The PSAT is offered once a year in October. Many students take the test their sophomore year. Others wait until junior year. And a few take it as early as their freshman year. Taking the PSAT is a great first step towards college. Visit The College Board's PSAT page by clicking here. Our academic advisors will happily discuss how the PSAT should work into your student's long-term academic plans and whether a test preparation program is appropriate for them.

The mean SAT score for college bound seniors in 2005 was 1028 (source: Collegeboard). The range (25th-75th percentile) of SAT scores for students admitted to Harvard in 2005 was 1400-1580 (source: US News & World Report).
Assessment

Most students begin a Vertex program after taking a diagnostic assessment test that will help identify relative areas of strength and challenge. We administer a reassessment at specific points in a students program to evaluate their progress.
